Built in the late 1800s, this Antique Horse-drawn Hearse remains in good working order and is still used in funerals and parades. Its black exterior is finished with gold pinstripe detailing, and eight windows dressed in dark curtains with gold tasseled swags. Removable wooden finials sit atop the hearse, rising to 87 inches with them in place and 77 inches without.

Brass and glass candle lanterns flank each side of the front, each embellished with eagles in flight. Inside, the driver’s seat and floor board are vinyl-covered and show no signs of wear, and a slide tray handles coffin transport. The hearse measures 10.5 feet long outside (excluding the tongue) with an interior of 8 feet long by 39.5 inches wide; the included tongue measures approximately 13 feet.
