This 1984 Buick Electra S&S hearse from Las Vegas, Nevada was acquired at auction after sitting dormant since a mortuary closed around 2010. The previous owner reported that a replacement engine was installed approximately 10,000 miles ago, though the odometer shows 62,224 and actual mileage is believed to be over 100,000. Ignition keys were made and the car starts and runs on carb cleaner, but the fuel pump is dead and it will need to be towed.
The blue velour interior remains in very good condition for its age, though the rear cargo floor “wood” is lifting and will need replacement. The windows, radio, power locks, and A/C all appear to function. Rust spots are visible under the vinyl top along the sides and on the rear door, and the top has a few noticeable tears. The grille is broken. Tires hold air and the Cadillac hubcaps are included with the lock. The car carries a clean, open Nevada title with no salvage branding.
