Owned by the same funeral home in Mexico since 1962—a span of 55 years—this 1959 Cadillac Series 75 Superior Landaulet 3-Way Hearse was discovered in a small town in Sonora, Mexico, preserved in remarkable completeness. Still adorned with its original Mexico registration stickers dating back to 1962 and funeral home name tags, the vehicle retains its original red velvet drapes, casket table, plastic Superior logos, casket rollers, and the coveted casket table. After being brought to Arizona, the hearse underwent mechanical work to ensure it starts, runs, and drives smoothly.
Powered by a 390 ci V8 engine with automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes, the coach rides on wide whitewall radial tires. The exterior carries an older paint job but retains its original chrome and trim, with a remarkably solid body thanks to a life spent in central Mexico’s dry climate. Inside, the originality is evident throughout, with extra trim and name tags complementing the velvet curtains and period details.
