1962 Cadillac Superior Hearse 3-way

1962 Cadillac Superior 3-way Hearse

Known as the “Hellcat Hearse,” this 1962 Cadillac Superior Hearse is a trimatic 3-way loader with suicide doors, powered by a rebuilt 390 ci original Cadillac engine with matching serial numbers. Seven years of custom upgrades include an Edelbrock 600 carburetor, chrome air cleaner, fang-themed upholstery on the front seats, tongue and groove wood door and back panels, a Pioneer Bluetooth stereo with remote, Kicker CS67 and Alpine speakers, and a custom gauge box with gauges. Four Starburst-style chrome hubcaps, chrome landau bars, and a rhino-lined top complete the exterior. The vehicle served as a service vehicle for ten years before retirement.

With only 2,280 Professional Coaches built on the Cadillac Extended Chassis in 1962, this is a rare find. The dash and gauges remain impeccable, most glass is in excellent condition, and lap seatbelts are fitted for the front seat with extra belts for the two rear bench seats. The original vinyl headliner was removed but can be easily replaced. Minor bodywork issues exist but the hearse remains in great shape and serves as a daily driver.
