Offering a solid foundation with robust floors and a very good body, this 1971 Cadillac Miller Meteor 3-Way Hearse received a repaint over two decades ago that still presents well. Significant work has been invested over the last four years, including a complete valve job with new valves, seals, guides, and all new upper gaskets. Belts, hoses, fuel pump, fuel filter, brakes, wheel cylinders, brake lines, fuel lines, and transmission service with fluid and filter changes were all performed. The rear end was serviced, wheel bearings packed, and the AC system recharged. The hearse runs and drives well with smooth transmission shifts.
Original bias-ply tires with good tread remain on the vehicle but are recommended for replacement for daily driving safety. The AC system holds pressure, but the fan is not blowing and the compressor is not receiving power—potentially a simple fuse issue that hasn’t been thoroughly investigated.
