Equipped with the rare Dual-Action Levelizer feature, this 1975 Cadillac Miller Meteor 3-Way Hearse is a Landau Traditional model with a fully operational three-way electric casket table that slides out from either side door or the rear. The hydraulic-controlled suspension raises or lowers either side of the vehicle for optimal casket handling positioning. Showing 96,252 original miles, the hearse is powered by the massive 500 ci (8.2-liter) V8—the largest engine ever installed in a Cadillac. Recent drivetrain updates include a new timing chain, water pump, fuel pump, oil pump, Edelbrock intake manifold, carburetor, high-performance distributor, and new radiator. The A/C has been converted to R134a with a high-performance compressor, and dual batteries have been added.
Customizations include a large casket speaker box housing four Kicker 12″ subwoofers with a 1,000-watt Kicker amp and Alpine amp for mids and tweeters, plus blue LED lighting throughout the interior, behind the Landau bars, and around the casket area. All modifications are removable to preserve original integrity. Minor cosmetic issues include a few rips in the seat upholstery and a small paint blister. The vehicle retains its original Miller Meteor key fob and comes with a 1975 sales brochure, riding on nearly new Toyo tires.
